in Parenting after a Loss
when do you plan on taking lo on an airplane?  my mom wants me to fly down to FL in March when dd will be 3 months old.  did your pedi give you any advice on this?  what are your opinions?  i'm worried about all the germs and all, but i guess i'll see what my pedi says too.

    I'd say by the time your LO is 3 months, she'd be fine. Hopefully, she'll still be sleepy enough to sleep through the entire flight and not need to be entertained. And it'll be late Feb by then, right? Tail end of flu season, shouldn't be too big a deal.

    Holding hand up... our LO has been on a plane already, he was 3 weeks old. It wasn't ideal AT ALL but it unfortunately had to be done.

    Our pedi said to get a seat at the front of the plane, keep him covered and to feed on the way up and down. And if anyone was sneezing or coughing around us to ask to be moved.

    We took EC to Boston when she was 5 months and had no problems.  Your dd will be 3 months, I'm sure she'll be fine.
