video monitor users

do you have to have a night light on to use it?

lately, DD will not fall asleep if the night light is on, so I'm wondering how we'd use one if we had it

Re: video monitor users

  • no light required. on ours- if the room is completely dark the image is just black and white and if there is some light it goes to color. we have the summer video monitor and it really has saved a lot of up and down from bed.

ditto... we have the same one and it does have the slightest green glow from the camera but it doesn't light anything up.

  • We have the Summer monitor also.
  • Ditto pp - it's awesome. There's just a tiny green light on the camera but it barely casts any glow and it's far enough from DS that it doesn't bother him.

  • we have a different one from pp's, but still no need for a night light.  There are some red lights on ours that glow, but LO doesn't seem to be bothered by them either.
