And thinking, really? How could you not know? I've had a pretty easy pregnancy, no cravings, no sickness and not that tired, but still, my belly has grown and I feel crazy kicking! Anyway, just wanted to share. I'm bored and waiting for my c-section on Saturday for my breech baby!
Re: Watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
Even if I was told that I could not have a baby I would have went to the doctor to inquire if I had some type of parasite... LOL. I just can't get over the movement part.
I actually knew someone who was pregnant and did not know. My cousin who already had a son got pregnant with her daughter 2 years later. She carried her until she was 35 weeks when she went to the hospital for stomach pains. My g-ma is the one who drove her to the hospital and that is when she found out. My cousin is now 21 years old and the product of a I didn't know I was pregnant mother.
She claims she never really felt anything and that even her husband didn't notice anything different. I guess these are just one of those phenomenon that no one can explain.
It does happen. It happened to my coworker. She and her husband had been TTC for 15 years, and then she was told that she wouldn't be able to have kids. She was in her 40's when she conceived. She never got a tummy because her uterus tilts inward. Plus she never got real big because the baby was born preemie. During the pregnancy, she thought she was going through menopause because of her age, which she thought explained the missing period and other new sensations. Then she gave birth to her son when she was only seven months along. Thankfully everything turned out well, and he's now in his way to three years old. She is an example of yes, it can happen!

I think some of these people are either A) very ignorant
in sever denial or C) both a and b.
I just don't understand how you can go full term and not know. I get that they may have had an easy pregnancy but some things are just too obvious.
Thank you! I'm really nervous, but I'm sure everything will be okay!
this!!
I know someone who didn't know she was pregnant and delivered full term. She's always been slightly overweight and had VERY irregular periods. Because of her size and the way she carried, she didn't show at all. She had some light spotting but that would've been a typical period for her.
She thought she was having appendicitis and asked her Mom to take her to the hospital. The doctor examined her and told her she'd better call her husband because she was in labor and would be delivering soon. Of course, he thought her Mom was joking when she called him. It was their first baby and were completely unprepared - they had nothing! Luckily, she delivered a healthy little boy.
It was a different story a few years later when she had her second. She carried him differently (more out front) and actually felt kicks, etc.
I saw this same episode and I can't believe she didn't go to the dr! Even if I was sure that I'm not pregnant I would go to the dr if I was having boob leakage, I can't believe she didn't do anything!
Think of all the months we spend planning for our LO's, can you imagine having not finding out until you are in labor - you would have nothing ready and no preperation!
