I'm bored.  I don't want to play with my kids anymore and I don't care that there's toys all over the place.  I'm not cleaning today.  But I'm boooooooored and Days of our Lives doesn't start for another 45 minutes...

    dude.  I'm totally with you, ali.  Sometimes staying at home can make me a terrible mom.  I get bored easily and the boys do so well playing by themselves without me, but then my guilt gets the best of me and I spend more time trying to figure out what I should "teach" them or what they need to be learning.  It's give and take, this mommyhood.  I mean, it's awesome that I'm able to stay home with them and be here for them and get to see them grow, etc, but sometimes I need some adult interaction!

    I'm guessing you just posted something controversial to some.  The opportunity to play with my kid all day and have the option to clean during the week on a regular basis is golden.  Not flaming your choice of activities, just saying you could be controversial and not even know it. :)

    I know, I get it.  I did the working mom thing too for a long time.

    I guess my controversial post could be about SAHMs who complain about their job being so hard and working moms have it so easy and whine whine whine always get an eye roll from me.

    I think it was brideonjuly posted last week about her boy knowing some of his letters, that got an OhShit from me.  I forget about teaching Layna that stuff...daycare did all that for me with Jakob :)
