Can I feed DS beer bread?

I just read the dinner post below and was thinking about making beer bread with chili tonight. Do you think DS can eat it? He LOVES bread so he most likely will eat quite a bit of it. And if he sees it, he will want some!

(it has a whole 12oz beer in it)...does that much really cook out in the short time that it bakes?

If I make it in loaf form it takes about 50 min....but maybe only 25 if I do muffins.

I'd say that it's probably fine.

Although if you are unsure, you can use any carbonated beverage to make beer bread, so it doesn't necessarily have to be beer... I think i've made it before with sprite and it tasted fine. You could use Ginger Ale.

FWIW, my BIL was fed an ounce of beer half an hour before every mealtime when he was a kid to get him hungry. Granted, that was eons ago.

We're Italian and DD frequently gets sips of wine from her Nonno.
