I feel like I am in the stone age ordering checks. Some of my bills I feel OK paying on line, but I have had payments not go through, and the company can't find my transaction anywhere (even with the #) when I paid online. Plus with day care or a baby sitter, I like having a paper trail where I know I paid the person. Do you still use paper checks, or do everything on line or with cash?
Re: NBR: Do you still use checks?
I use cash, checks and credit all evenly, I think.
I still use checks for the rent, car insurance, water bill and to make random purchases that I want a paper trail for.

I still use checks for bills, everything else is cash or debit card.
I, too feel like I am in the stone age, but I would rather have a paper trail than not have something go thru.
This. I used to be a personal banker (the person you open your account with) and I can't tell you the number of times I've had to try and track down an online payment, figure out why something was deducted twice, etc. I like paper checks because I can prove it was cashed.
I use checks for bills and important things. Debit card for groceries and other shopping purchases (gas etc). I rarely use cash.
I don't use a credit card. I don't like them.
i use checks for all our bills.
