that I have an overly sensitive "annoying pregnancy remarks" radar.
A pg friend of mine on FB just posted that she's tired of being tired all the time and of course everyone and their mother is posting "oh you think you're tired now!" and "you just wait!". I feel so bad for her and so annoyed with their comments- so I posted something along the lines of "I actually got more rest once he was here- being pregnant was the most uncomfortable time! I hope you can get some sleep until then!" Poor girl. I hate all the unsolicited comments.
Well, now that I think about it, my comment was also unsolicited. Oh well.

Re: NEFR: I think just because I've been pregnant...
I agree, I hate getting those comments.
My personal favorite was when I posted something about being 33 wks along, and a friend posted "My daughter was born at 33 wks, out of the blue", to wish I replied "are you trying to scare me?", and she said "NO! just saying it can happen..." Yeah, right...
Whenever someone asks how I'm doing and I say, "Great, pregnancy has been pretty easy," I get these unbelieving looks and then they start saying, "Just wait until... you get bigger/ he starts kicking your bladder/ he gets in such and such position/ when labor hits/ when he's here and crying all the time...
I always want to say, "Thank you for your negativity. I'll remember that."
My boss keeps asking me (in a sotto/breathless voice), "How are you feeling?"
Every.single.time. I want to giggle. I had to tell her early to explain the dr appts.
I got these comments too. One guy at church kept asking "So, are you miserable yet?" And my response was always "nope - feeling great!". If you wait around for the bad stuff and expect it and dread it, it's more likely to happen, IMO. If you look on the bright side and enjoy your happy pregnancy, it will continue that way. At least, that is what I experienced
.
(disclaimer: This is assuming you have a happy, easy-ish pregnancy...if you have horrid morning sickness for the entire time, etc, etc, then this probably doesn't apply.)
