::sigh:: I've done something really really stupid.

Around Thanksgiving I had a UTI (this happens often and I hate it).  The doctor gave me 2 Rx, one was an antibiotic the other was the blue pill that turns your pee green.

Taking all of those meds on top of the metformin made me so sick I didn't eat much at all that whole weekend and puked at school one morning.

I should have called my RE to see what to do - hold off on the met or get a different antibiotic - but I didn't.  So I quit the antibiotic (idiot).  Ever since I've felt like I've had a slight UTI but have just dealt with it. 

It's getting bad again so I guess I'll call.  I thought about just putting the met on hold until I finish the antibiotic I have left but I'd hate to mess something up now.

    I was put in cipro (not sure of the full name) and all I know is that I was a mess with it and met but I guess its the best for uit (hey, I am not a doc, I just listen one).  Suckage so I can sympathise.  UTI's suck.  Big time. 
    Not sure what direction we are headed. Either way, I am up for the ride.

    Yes.  I plan on chugging and taking them again.  I have more of the blue pills left too so I'm going to take more of those.

    Wait... did I say blue? Pill is blue - pee is green.  I've had a red pill before too that turned your pee orange.  Azo does that too.  Good times... NOT.

    I have never taken the blue pill, I have the red one.  I was mean to the husband and kinda freaked him out...then I told him it was a s/e. 
    Not sure what direction we are headed. Either way, I am up for the ride.

    I took the burgundy pills that turned my pee the color of yellow food coloring.  Orange, I guess.

    I hope you get everything sorted out!  I've only ever had one UTI, and it was completely awful.

    Yes it would. I've heard rumors of some color of gatorade changing the color of your pee too I just can't remember which.  You could have a good time with that sans the UTI hell!

    Don't ever let a UTI go without treating it!!! I ended up in the hospital with a severe kidney infection from a UTI gone extreme once. Definitely talk to your doc about the meds, they will guide you in the right direction.

    And to the bumpie who has never had a UTI - ugh I hate you! Stick out tongue They are the worst.
