Christmas funny

The day after Christmas, we were with DH's family at lunch.  My niece Skylar (who is 6) was sitting next to me and DD was sitting on my lap.  Skylar asks me, "Is she white or brown?"  I said, "She is both.  Her mom is white and her dad is brown."  She looks at DH.  Looks at me.  Looks at DD.  Looks back at DH.  She shrugs her shoulders and says, "He looks white to me!"  I couldn't help but crack up!  We've told her that DD is adopted but I don't think she gets it yet.  It was just too funny not to share!
