Re: 1st Tri Check-in
Update: I'm doing good
6 whole days without bleeding makes me a very happy girl! been having a fair amount of cramping, RLP, and nausea..and have been more tired than before, but I have also been very busy with the holidays, so guessing I have just been overdoing it. The holidays were fun, we got some presents for the baby, which was very exciting
QOTD: I keep feeling guilty complaining if someone honestly wants to know how i feel...there are obviously the people that you just tell "oh, i'm great" but some people really care how you are feeling and I just can't bring myself to complain (except to my poor hubby...lol!)
Can i be added?
I am due 9/1/10 but will have the babies in August. We just found out today that it is twins!!
QOTD: Only family and very close friends know right now so I am honest with them. I feel pretty yuck - but, I always add in that I am glad to feel yuck b/c I know it is a good sign!
It depends. Most of the time I say ok or good. Sometimes i say so so. It's all based on my nausea/vomiting though.
I too have the same feelings like I feel like I can't complain. I mean, I threw up this morning, and as soon as I was done, I went right back to getting ready for work like nothing happened. I know it's just part of it, and the n/v will eventually be gone. And really, of course it's worth it.
Luckily, my co-workers are WONDERFUL and give me a break alot - like when I'm looking pale, they tell me to go sit down and take a break.
Sweet bunch of nurses I work with.
have my 12 week check up tomorrow and am doing the 1 hour glucose test. my dr said b/c i am insulin resistant it's foolish to wait until 26 weeks to see if there is an issue.
qotd: only my immediate family and some close friends know so i am pretty honest. my family never really asks though so mh has to listen to a lot of my whining.
Please give us an update!
UPDATE: I really don't have one..I go for my first u/s tomorrow I will be 6wks!! So we will know more then!! Other then that, I am super tired all the time and just have bouts of nausness and have dull to major headaches (one on XMASS that was terrible) so ok for the most part
Question of the day: How are you responding when people ask you how you are feeling? Well my IL's are hear visiting from MA and they ask me every 5 mintues so it's getting kind of annoying...I just say fine and leave it at that.. Other then them and my father who calls everyday to see how I am doing nobody else really knows..we are waiting to tell everyone after DH is done with Superbowl so FEb...
LCB34 - I added you
Alissa - i put your due date down as Aug 30th, because that is my birthday...lol! let me know when you get an updated, actual date!
We are having 1 baby, first u/s was last week, everything so far looks good.
QOTD: For the most part I haven't been super sick yet, so I can be pretty honest in saying that I feel good.
Please give us an update! My belly seems bigger and harder today...thats really exciting. For Christmas my DH got me a cute I Love Mom picture frame and 2 baby photo books...there 1st U/S pictures are already in there.
Question of the day: Since only family knows and DH of course I answer honestly and tell them how I feel. Sometimes they don't have a chance to ask I just tell when I see them. I see my mom everday for lunch. And when I get home at night I tell DH right away so he knows what kind of mood I'll be in. But I'm looking forward to tonites meal...mashed potatos and steak!! YUM!! I hope my stomach can handle it.
Hi Mousey, can you please add me! My EDD is Aug. 30, 2010
Update: I am awaiting my first u/s which is scheduled for next Tuesday. I will be 6w1d then so I hope to see a hb. I've been feeling nauseous off/on since last week and my breasts are extremely tender. But I'm definitely not complaining.
QOTD: My immediate family are the only ones who know so I am pretty honest. As most of you stated, DH really gets the gest of how I'm feeling.
