Merry Christmas from evil ex-MIL!
So my ex's mom called me on Christmas morning at 9am asking if she could come pick up DS and take him to her mother's house for part of the day for Christmas. Ummm, you have come to see him all of three times since he has been born, he doesn't know you but you call me on Christmas Day and want to be a grandma-nope, sorry! You can come and see him today, that is fine, but you are not taking him. So somehow I am being controlling! Then she had the nerve to say, "and my son isn't coming home on Christmas because YOU won't let him see the baby". Ummmm that is complete and total BS. He said he wasn't coming home on Christmas because it was too hard for him (probably wanted to spend Christmas with a new honey and do drugs IMO). So I told MIL that I had enough of her bullsh*t and I wasn't going to be held accountable for ex's actions anymore. I went off on her and was shaking I was so mad. She finally hung up on me and then called back letter and left a rude message. Good riddance to her, along with her POS son!

Wow, your exMIL could be best friends with my ex's mother. Her reaction to my pregnancy was that given the situation I should get an abortion. Who the hell says that in regards to their grandchild?!
And you are completely right in what you told her, you aren't responsible for his actions. She just wants someone to blame since there's no way it could possibly be her darling little angel's fault. (Note the sarcasm in the darling angel comment!)
