I think my SIL is IF.....

For the past year every time she came into town all she would talk about is having a baby and how excited she was, she would ask me and another friend tons of pregnancy related questions etc.

Anyways this year she pretty much avoided being in the same room with DH, DS and I and left to the basement when cousin in-law showed up with her three boys.  We saw her at meal time and presents that was it.

It reminded me of how I was when DH and I were dealing with IF. 

WDYT?  The only other thing DH and I were thinking is that she is having marital issues, she and her husband were seriously on edge the entire weekend.

    Does she know you guys had t-ttc? If not I might share that with her. If she does then at least she knows who to come to when/if she wants to talk. I agree that it sounds like she is dealing with something personal.

    Yes she does she is one of only a few people in the family that knows what DH and I went through.  She and I are not the best of friends but we get along, I felt bad for her because it was clear something wasn't right.

    Can you shoot her an email? Maybe just say you noticed a dark cloud over her on X-mas and that you were thinking of her and if she ever needs a sholder or someone to talk to that you hope she knows you are there for her?

    I remember feeling like I couldn't reach out about the IF unless the arm was extended to me. I was too afraid to take that first step, maybe she feels the same way?
