I really like this name! I've heard of many dogs with this name too, but doesn't bother me. I also know 2 girls named Sadie and there's the Beatles song Sexy Sadie.
I think it's precious, but my SIL and Bro named their dog Sadie so now that's what I associate the name with.

I like the name enough that I named by dog Sadie. I do think the name is gaining in popularity lately. My cousin and an ex-coworker named both recently named their daughters Sadie and I can think of one or two more Sadies about the same age (18 months to 2 years). I just have a hard time thinking of the name on an adult.
It is my dd's name. I don't really care that people name their dogs Sadie. I've known a few cool, successful adult Sadies (our age - not 'grandma aged') so I think it ages well. She's 4 and I know of one that is older and I have met a few that are younger, so it is definitely becoming more common.
I think it's cute, but it's definitely a little girl's name IMO. I don't think it grows up well.
Interesting. The only Sadie I ever knew was an elderly lady. I always associated it as an old lady name until Adam Sandler used it to name his DD a few years ago. And now it's made a comeback.

Really like this name, too, but won't use it for this reason. I know a couple of dogs and a cat named Sadie. So sad...
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
Love it, even if there are dogs named Sadie. There are lots of people names used on animals these days.
Sadly, DH nixed it...
