EF crib mattresses?

I registered for the Naturepedic, but chances are, no one will buy it and I certainly am having trouble justifying a $300+ crib mattress. (However, DH and I have a Tempurpedic and I'd feel bad giving little sprout something less-than-adequate when we're sleeping in luxury...)

Anyone have the Naturepedic?

How about the Sealy Soy Foam mattress or the Colgate Eco Classica?

Give me some insight here.

I have the Naturepedic Classic 150, and it runs $250 regular price but I got mine at albeebaby.com and they run discounts all the time. If you get on their email list, they frequently send out 17% off codes via email. And I think currently the website is offering 15% off anything that isn't on sale.

Obviously I haven't used the mattress yet but I can tell you it is wonderful, no strange smells at all, great cover that seems like it will be easy to wipe clean if necessary, and it fits the crib snugly.

We bought the naturepedic and really like it to far. I don't know anything about the sealy or the colate. we were also looking at naturalmat, but that was even more than naturepedic. good luck!

We have the Naturpedic & it's really nice. I'm glad we have it because I just couldn't see putting our DD on a bed that is filled with chemicals when they spend so much time on the bed when they're little. Yes - we bed share, but her crib is pushed up against our bed and does spend most of her time in her crib during sleep.

We have the Naturepedic as well, and really like it. I will probably get another for baby #2. You can also get them from Kohls.com, and can usually find a coupon code, so maybe it would be cheaper that way. After reading a lot a few years ago about matresses this is the one we chose, although I would be interested to hear of other alternatives as well since I haven't read up in a few years. Good luck!
