Mucous in poop

Hello,

My son has had mucous in his stools for a week or so now. My pedi gave me some formula to try. Anyone have this and found a way to keep breastfeeding. I am sick over it because he has been EBF since birth and I really would like to continue breastfeeding. I rarely eat dairy (cheese occasionally but no milk, yogurt, ice cream, etc.

    Talk to an LC because DD had this and they Dx me with a Fm/Hm imbalance and had me block feed her for about 10 days.

    If he hasn't been acting uncomfortable then I wouldn't worry too much, but my DD was suuuuuuuuper fussy for about a week when I took her in.
