If you're TTC, are you drinking on NYE? DH thinks I shouldn't but I think it's just because he wants me to be the DD, ha ha. No really, we're on the fence if I should or not. I know EVERYONE will be asking Qs if I don't and I really don't want to say Oh, I MIGHT be pg. IDK.

If you're near the end of your cycle and you're really worried about it, the morning before new years.

After 14 months of trying, I refuse to structure my life around something that may or may not happen. The only reason I will not drink is if I still have this stuffy nose/sore throat thing going on. The possibility of me being KU or not does not sway me one way or the other.

I agree with JennyAnne- after 14 months of maybes, that won't stop me. I just posted below about testing on NYE morning at 10dpo. If it's a BFN, I'll probably have 1 or 2 drinks, but nothing crazy. If it's a BFP, I'll be so darn happy I won't care that I can't drink.

I say go ahead and drink until you get a BFP! If I am going to be going out I always POAS before I go out just to make sure (I know it is a little ADD but it makes me feel better). If for some reason is happened to be a BFP then I would have something to celebrate....haha!

The last 3 years DH has made me DD...not this year! lol! But, I am at the beginning of my cycle too and there's no way I could be pg yet.

I really really really think I am PG because we were dead on with timing. I may be totally wrong though. I want to test on NYE with you but I'll only be 9 DPO, probably WAYYY too early. I have a $ store test, though, so maybe I'll give it a try.

I'm going to have a beer now

I'm not drinking but we never do. I have nothing against it, we're just not much on drinking. We'll be sharing our traditional celebratory bottle of Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider! Yummy!

Perfect timing means absolutely nothing. If you have a $ store test and don't mind seeing a BFN, you should POAS. Otherwise, I don't think you should feel bad having a drink or so.

This! Not to poop on your Cheerios, but I can't tell you how many times we've had really, really good timing with no BFP (and nothing obvious that is wrong with DH or me). I truly hope that you get a BFP, but just know that really good timing ensures nothing.

Hell yes I'll be drinking. I won't drink heavily or anything as I'll have my MIL and BIL at our house, but I'll definitely be drinking. DH and I have a party to go to and we're excited we have somewhere to go!

I'll be testing on 1/4 if something doesn't happen before then.

haven't decided if I'm gonna POAS before then but if I don't then def YES (& if a BFN then def YES!) ! It helps that we are celebrating at home though.

Yes, I will be drinking on NYE. If I was late in my 2ww I would POAS that morning - just to be sure.

I'm still on the fence on this one. I am on day 30 right now and haven't even started my 3-4 day spotting prior to AF. If nothing starts happening before Wednesday, I plan to POAS again. If it's positive, then WOO HOO CELEBRATION! If it's negative, then I'll just assume I'm having a long cycle this time and will have several drinks.

And if AF shows up between now and then, I will DEFINITELY be drinking and heavily, especially since my college team is in a bowl game that night!

Yes, I plan on drinking unless this cycle's meds work super fast and my IUI is scheduled the next day. If this wasn't a medicated cycle I wouldn't even think twice about drinking.

I'm in the same boat as illinigal, I may test at 10dpo on NYE, and have a few drinks if it's a BFN. Enjoy!!!

I will be 13 dpo on NYE - so I plan to POAS that morning - if it's negative I will definately indulge alot to drown my sorrow.

I have a pending IUI, so I guess it depends on when that happens. I love New Year's and would love to have a few cocktails, but I am really scared to f up my chances. But if I weren't seeing a RE and in this part of my cycle, I would definitely.
