I just received the cutest skirt that actually has room for my tummy bloat (shocking) but you can see my undies line . I really wanted to wear it for NYE.
I
know I shouldn't wear anything that holds me in to tight but is there
anything I can wear to smooth things? I don't think stockings are going
to work.
You're only 6 wks, I don't see why you can't wear spanx or anything else you'd normally wear. You're not going to crush the baby or anything.
It is more of a risk of cuttting off circulation to the baby then hurting the baby. They can cause blood flow to lesson as well as be ristricted. I love my spanx and asked my Dr about wearing them and she said at this time the best option is Maturnity pantyhose, or she said one of the full slips that is stretchy. Becasuse they do not wrap around your thigs, or band off at your waist they have a much lower risk to the blood flow. It may not hold you in as much, but if you just want to look smooth it may be a good option.
Re: x/p: Spanx or smoothing garments?
I tired that but unfortunately my arse has gotten bigger and they aren't comfortable any more. Totally sucks.
ah.. that blows.
