Bigger than a DD??

I was a DD before I got pregnant, and I am now busting out of all my bras.  Does anyone have a source for bras bigger than a DD cup??  I looked at a Destination Maternity store, thinking that would be the best place, and they had absolutely none.  I hate to buy bras online, but I don't think I have any choice.

Does anyone have any good sources (stores or websites) for me to try?

 Thanks!

  • Lane Bryant?

I have no idea.  I have no boobs to speak of, even while pregnant.

  • Lane Bryant goes up to E or F, I believe, in the stores and higher online.

Nordstroms also has a pretty good selection of larger sizes, but they're kind of expensive (~$80 per bra for the really good ones).

  • I am a 34 F (before PG) and I shop at Intimacy- pricey but worth every penny IMO.  I have also bought off ebay once I found a brand I like.
  • I was a 38F before pregnancy, now I am ginmorous. I stick with sports bras and have gotten some comfy ones that I will stick with.
  • I'm a 36FF, and not pregnant yet.

I buy my bras from bare necessities. They used to have a store near me. Once I found 1 or 2 styles that looked good on me, I would buy the same bras on ebay, BNWT from England for about half the price.

  • I'm a DDD and I shop at Nordstrom.  They are pricey ($60-$80), but I think worth every penny.  I used to have a lot of back pain and the second I put a bra on from there that was fitted properly, it went away instantly. I would recommend them to anyone!

  • I was a 32F before pregnancy, and now, I'm a monster ;)  I buy my bras from this little old lady boutique where they fit you and tell you what to buy. Gotta love NYC.  One bras they sold me was a little tight on the ribs so they gave me an extender and told me to wear it til the band stretched a bit and I could hook in comfortably.  A bigger band size just rode up on me, and decreased support.

So, I went to the drugstore and bought a few Hollywould brand bra extenders (I think they're at Bed Bath Beyond too).  I'm using them on my less fogiving bras and it's working really well.  Good support, but a little breathing room.  I've just accepted that my chest is going to be a bit more... obvious... and sit a little higher than usual.  But I'm not spilling out or uncomfortable.  Gotta love a $5 solution!

  • LB sells up to DDD in the stores and sells bigger sizes online. I just asked the other day... I am currently a DDD but not for long!

  • I am a 36F prepregnancy and buy mine from stores in England- they are cheaper with the airfare if you buy like 3 at a time- stores I like are Marks and Spencers, Bravissimo, La Senza (make sure it is the UK version, not US)... Good luck

  • I was lurking from 3rd tri... well guess its not lurking anymore Wink

My best advice, even though I hate it myself. Is to invest in some stretchy sports bras. Prepregnancy I was a 34G, I am now a 38G and still getting bigger. I personally could not see the point in spending a big chunk of money when my breasts were just going to get larger. I also tried to buy some bras at a cheap price online, but had to return them due to the cups being too small... even though I selected a cup size larger than what I needed.

  • I was a DD or DDD before my first, and went up to (and stayed) a 34G. now at 12 weeks I'm growing more and am probably about a H or I now. Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms are a good starting place, or even Dillards is carrying larger sizes now. It's much harder to find small band sizes with big cup sizes, so if you're a 32 or 34 you might have to go with mailorder. Lane Bryant and other plus size stores start at 36. Bravissimo was already mentioned, and I use figleaves alot too. I suggest (if you're able to) buying like 10 from mail order with the intention of returning 7 or 8 of them. There are always fitting issues, and it is so disappointing to get 3 bras in the mail and none of them fit!
