DD has a cough/temperature and we're out of the country. All the bottles say not below 6 years old. Is there a Dimetapp I can give or am I remembering that wrong?
A little honey (for babies over 1) might help with a cough. I have a honey cough syrup from the health food store that is fine for 1 and older. I used honey when I was bf'ing since most meds dry you out. I thought it helped a little.
Re: Can I give Children's Dimetapp?
Nope. They pulled most of those syrups a few years back for infants and small children saying they really didn't do much.
Do you have a cool mist or warm mist humidifier? Use that when she is sleeping, it will help with the congestion.
