bumper help!

Does the bumper face in or out with the design?  I can't find a pic of it in a crib, just a toddler bed to check.

    We faced our design inward - but I think you could put it whichever way you like best.

    Ours is facing in right now...will take it out of the crib before the baby comes though.

    Ours is facing outward, based on advertising pictures of the bedding and my own personal preference.  The inside of the bumper, though, is a pretty striped pattern, so it's just as stimulating for the baby.  (Though we're probably going to take out the bumper once we put the baby in the crib.)

    The pattern goes on the outside.  DD's is from Pottery Barn and has flowers on the outside and polka dots on the inside.

    ours was facing outward, base on the advertising picture but we ended up taking it out, and buying a breathable bummer once the baby was really sleeping in the crib.
