Karo syrup?

I have been giving my LOs Karo syrup (per pedi suggestion) to help w/ thier constipation from the soy formula.  (just switched yesterday to sensative hopefully that helps) but my LOS never sleep especially during the day could it be all the sugar in the Karo syrup has them wired?

thoughts?  Im stopping the Karo syrup for a few days and see if that helps hopefully the new formula starightens out thier constipation/

    my ped recommended juice (apple or pear) for constipation. my guys were stopped up until i finally switched them to nestle good start, now they are fine. we tried a few kinds of enfamil and a couple of generics before this one. good start has helped a lot with the spit up too (why we started trying new formulas in the first place). good luck, its hard work to find one that works. sigh.

    could you be giving them too much causing the sugar overload? I know Jack had the same issues and we were told to just dip the tip of his pacifier in the syrup or just a drop or so in a bottle.

     we eventually got him off soy all together and switched to Good Start Gentle (or something similar with an orange label) and it really helped the most. GL!
