When was the soonest you were told the sex/gender? Wks?

I feel like since I get sonos more often now, there could be a way I could find out sooner.

I go in at 13wks, 16wks and then 20wks.

    we found out at 17 weeks or so

    The tech told us at 17 weeks - but the dr. didn't want her to... he said it wasn't really clear until 20 weeks. (btw - the tech was right at 17 weeks)

    We found out Baby A at 16 weeks but the other baby wasn't cooperating.  At 20 weeks we confirmed A again and found out Baby B as well.  Good luck!

    We got a good guess at 12w6d and they were right!  I didn't put too much faith in it until the next u/s around 17w though.
    2004-Started TTC; Nov 2007-Lap with endo removed; Jan 2008-Ectopic (mtx); April 2008-IVF #1 (bfp, twin girls); March 2011-FET (cp); June 2012-IVF #2 (bfp, singleton, EDD 3-19-12)

    At my 13 wk appt., dr. said B/G...but to not go buying pink and blue until the next visit at 16 wks...

    Glad we didn't shop before that next visit b/c the dr. told us 2 girls at 16 wks!!

    15w6d at the peri.  I dont think we would have been able to tell at the regular OB's office.  Her machine isnt the best

    12w2d with all 3 of my boys... at the NST.

    The external genitals are formed by 12 weeks- so it's possible if you get a good shot, and have a good US tech --- but i wouldn't trust it until you confirm later. We confirmed at 16w with the twins, and at 20w with Griffin. They were right all along.

    MFM told me the genders at 13w. Later confirmed at 16w. Then again at 20w (my DH refused to believe it until 20w).

    We found out at 15 weeks, the tech was 99% sure, and in the end they were right.

    We found out the sexes somewhere btwn 18 and 20w.

    we "found out" at 13wks... at our NT scan.  the u/s guy was very experienced, and even he said he couldn't say 100%.  but he was right!  at my next several u/s the techs kept changing their minds, all the way up until after 20wks... the girls just would not cooperate enough.

    so if yours cooperate you might be able to tell for sure at 16wks.  they have to show their stuff :)

    My MFM had a guess for Baby B at 13w5d and she was right.  That was on a Level II machine, for our NT.  The tech at the OB/GYN said she was 80% sure both were girls at 16w on a regular machine.
