Ok, I know there have been a lot of posts about home dopplers but i went back 18 pages and didn't find one with more than 1 person recommending one. So which one do you recommend and why.
TIA.

I don't think your going to get much of a response this late at night. I would goodle ones and look at the reviews. I want one, but don't know if I am going to get one. I think I would drive myself crazy with it. lol. GL in your search.
It is REALLY hard to find reviews on any of them. I know a lot of people like the Hi bebe one. I ordered a Sonolife Doppler off Ebay (it was new) for $69
I actually heard very mixed reviews about that one- I almost bought the angelsounds one but it sounded like most people couldn't consistently find the h/b until much later in the pg.

I know other girls who also ordered this one and are happy with the results- they are in the 1st tri. I'm still waiting for it to come.
Yes, this is the exact one I just recommended! A little tip though...if you use it in the morning before you eat, it is much easier to find the heartbeat! ANDDD, once you find it the first time (it may take you a while, because you'll need to figure out how to use it, what you're looking for, and where to look - it took me HOURS), but now it only takes me a few minutes to find it!
I went into my doctor's office and he told me there was no way they'd hear the hb yet, even on a doppler, unless it was a really expensive 2-3K one.
My DH freaked out that I'm 'talking to so many people that are giving me wrong information' and now I'm pouting, because I'm almost out of first tri and I STILL haven't heard the heartbeat.
We rented the cheapest one at the Baby Beats website for one month. We heard the heartbeat perfectly. It was a good value in my mind. Plus, now I feel reassured and don't have a doppler sitting around my house taking up space.
I bought the Sonoline B with the 3Mhz doppler and it works great ($60-70 from amazon.com). I found the hb within the first 60 seconds of trying. (I started listening for the hb at 12 wks 2 days pregnant.) Good Luck!!
I bought Sonotrax B as well as the above poster. Got it at 8 weeks, didn't hear heartbeat until 9 weeks 4 days. It was like overnight though, literally! I couldn't hear it one day and the very next day it was loud and clear and has been ever since.
I rented one from BabyBeats.com. I'm a bigger girl and it worked (w/only one or two WHERE IS HIS HB?? freakouts in teh first week) around 10 weeks! $30 a month well spent!
Re: Doppler
I'm pretty sure this is the one that most of the ladies recommend...

Here is the heartbeat using sonatrax B - sorry it's not a very good recording but if you listen you can hear my baby's heart beating away!
