pissed off......need to vent

....well let me start off with the fact that i work at the hosp that i am having my baby at...well one of the nurses that works there i cannot stand! of course i get there and have her everytime.....at my last appt my b/p was a little high....they werent bothered too much i was just nervous....well today i go in and of course i get the same nurse and my b/p was 152/80...i was super nervous...new doc plus they just rush you in and sit u down then take the b/p....i have had all the girls at work take my b/p the past 4 weeks and every single one of them was perfect!!!! so the doc says to me that i need ot have blood work done now and that i have to start taking fish oil,,blah blah blah....no other signs of hypertension at all..no headaches or blurred vision or protein in the urine nothing!!! so the doc says to me that i can have my ultrasound done in the next 2 weeks...so i get all excited and then i go to sched it.... not until JANUARY 19TH!!!!!!! is that 2 weeks to you? no!!!!!!!!!!! more like almost a month...then the receptionist says well that is still before your 20 weeks...um hello!!!!! i will be almost 21 weeks.....i love love love the docs in the OB department but the clinic nurses and receptionists are just ridiculous......anyways...sorry i just needed to vent

That happened to me too. I called right after Thanksgiving and they gave me an appt for January 8th! Thankfully my FIL is on the board of the hospital so he pulled some strings and I got in last monday.
See if they can call you is anyone cancels their appt.
