Did you notice that over the first few weeks you pumped less and less?? I was pumping a total of 10-12 ounces (pump 3 times a day) and this week it has tanked to 7-9 ounces. If this happened to you did you take fenugreek? If so, how long do I have to take it for?

Re: If you pump at work
I notice on Mondays and Tuesday my supply tanks. Unfortunately, my daughter just moved up to 5.5 ounces a bottle, and I can't keep up. I'm breaking into the freezer stash, and hoping my body will increase it after a week or so.
I've been considering fenugreek, but I upped my water.
How much tea do you have to drink a day?
My supply suddenly dipped about 2-3 weeks into work. I made lactation cookies, upped my intake, started taking Fenugreek (3 pills 3x daily) and nursed exclusively on the weekends.
I'm close to where I was before, and I only had to supplement with 6 oz of formula one day. I would highly recommend coming to terms with the idea of supplementing: I was all bent out of shape about not being able to label myself "EBF" and when I finally just let it go and relaxed about my son being healthy no matter what, my supply bounded back almost immediately!
And PSA to all who havem't heard my story: always keep some milk in the chest freezer and some in the regular freezer. The outlet the chest freezer (where I had stored all of my milk) tripped and I lost all of it.
My supply dipped after about 3 weeks, so I added a pumping session (now do 4 each workday over 10 hours) and I started taking Fenugreek a couple of weeks ago.
Each day varies for me -- yesterday I got 13.5 ounces total, today I'm at almost 20. I try not to stress and just combine pumping days to send DS off with enough each day.
I also try to EBF while home and leave the pump alone.
I lost about 1 oz. per pumping session after about 2 weeks back at work. I used to pump about 6 ounces per session, now I barely get 5.
I pump twice at work and he takes 5 oz. bottles, so if I don't end up with 10 oz. I need to either pump after he goes to bed or pump after his morning feeding to make up the difference. Usually it works out okay - I can usually get about 3 extra ounces after a morning feeding and I use that to make up the difference in bottles.
I also drink 3 cups a day of the Mother's Milk Tea and took Lactate Support for a few weeks, and it seemed to help. I also have upped my water.
WATER WATER WATER. the days that I dont finish my water bottles are the days when i pump the least.
i am also taking fenugreek, but it only works if you take it continuous w/o missing it.
