xmas shopping with twins

So glad it's over.  Makes you feel like youre on display.  Every (literally)10 seconds it's, "ooh, twins!", "look, honey...twins!"  and my favorite stupid question, "are they twins?"  All while one babe is crying and youre trying to steer your giant limousine of a stroller around hundreds of slow holiday shoppers.

    Sounds like an eventful day:) You should get an award for going at all!

    I think about how much life with change with two and worry we won't be going out in public much, but its good to hear you can do it, as long as you can deal with all the attention:)

    my DH and I each wore a baby and ran around the mall like lunatics, not giving people much of a chance to talk to us.

    I must say, I thought it was pretty fun!

    DH and I were out shopping the other day and an older woman said "don't tell me it's twins" as we were walking by.  Not stopping we just said "yep" as we kept going.  DH and I were then commenting to each other how that's just a dumb comment, as if we just wanted to see what it was like so we decided to go buy a DSNG.

    LOL.  A woman cornered us outside Macy's on Saturday told us she was the grandmother of twins, wanted to compare GA's and weights and asked if I was breastfeeding.

    I'm excited for the day that they're big enough that people stop noticing and asking if they're twins.... already people sometimes think they're just really close in age... um... yeah... REALLY close.  try 7 minutes Smile
