Eve of Christmas Eve Check-In

Ive got one more present to get and a few stocking stuffers which I am gonna brave Target and grab.

PS thanks for whoever gave me the magazine idea.....

I've gotta make some major batches of cookies here too.

    I too have some last minute things to do! I have to go grab 2 Texas Roadhouse gift cards when they open at 4pm today, then I will be finished!

    Now if only they would let us go home at work...

    I love me some Texas roadhouse..... I swear they have the best steaks. Them and saltgrass. I'm glad I got most everything wrapped. Thats the worst part for me.

    I'm all done shopping! wahoo!

    but I feel like I need to buy myself some goodies because I got a text from DH today saying "I hate shopping. You're going to hate christmas"

    Gee thanks Mr. Scrooge! Apparently everything that he had wantedt o get me is sold out or he can't find - I really don't need anything other than him and a book to read by the pool next week! Maybe some of those comfy bootie cable knit slippers...but he hates shopping (hence leaving it until Dec 23rd).

    Shopping:  Done!!  Even picked up a gift for our dog's 4th b-day in Feb (we knew the store wouldn't have them & it was cute!  A 2-pack with a Mr. Bill toy that says "Oh nooooooo!!!" & a rubber Gumby)

    Wrapping: No where near done, lol!  I wrapped most of DH's stuff but nothing for anyone else yet (chore #1 for tonight)

    Baking:  about 1/2 way done!  I made 2 kinds of Choc Chip cookies (really big ones for DH & I & regular ones for everyone else), Peanut Butter Blossom cookies, 2 kinds of meringue cookies (mint choc chip & double choc).  Still need to do Snickerdoodles, Black bottoms & vanilla meringues

    I treated myself yesterday. I got a few new pairs of shoes to add to the 67 I already own.... my next goal is maternity skinny jeans but I'm gonna try some on when I go to Houston this weekend.

    I'm trying to pry my lazy pregnant azz off the couch and go buy the last gift.  I'm getting my DH a Flip (thanks to the high recommendations on here).  The store is DIRECTLY up the street and I just can't manage to get my life together to go buy it.  I have NOTHING wrapped.  I just decorated my tree today.  I'm such a slacker...   Tongue Tied

    Double yum about the Texas Roadhouse. It's probably not quite the same up here in Minnesota...but I still love their sweet potatoes.

     

    I'm done with my shopping. Whew! I got everything wrapped and ready to go. Now, I just need to finish the Christmas treats...

    Us neither!  All of our family Christmas's are done, just me and DH left.  Everything is wrapped and under the tree.  We need some goat cheese for our dinner tomorrow night so we are going to Sam's when DH gets off work and to dinner.

    I've been done shopping for about 2 weeks :)   (first year ever  lol). I have about 5 gifts to wrap and I'm all done  :D

    I came on earlier to post at like 1ish and never got a chance to come back until now.

    But, I cant stay! I have a full house and I just came to grab something! I am EXHAUSTED. I spent all day cooking and now I am entertaining!
