I got my Nikon D3000 early and I am lovin' it! The IL's poor golden retriever is alredy tired of me stalking her, but I am excited to have a new "subject" to take pics of!

I really love the pumpkin one. I would consider cropping the top a bit so you only see the pumpkin and the floor of the deck, not the rails.

have you checked out the bump photography board? Its full of CF, but the women there are incredibly talented. I am learning so much from them.

Good idea on the cropping. I will have to check out the photog board! What's CF stand for?

I got my DSLR in July of 08. My cat had a zillion pics back then.

Love my camera. I'm still learning a lot on it.

LOL, nope I missed out on that gem.

I've been lurking over on the photog board. I am waaaay out of my league, but it is all very interesting. I'm taking a DSLR 1 Seminar at my camera store in January so hopefully I learn something!
