If you have 2 or more kids (or plan to)

This is probably a question for when the kids are older. Do you plan on buying the same amount of presents or spending the same amount of money on each kid? Or just buying them what they ask for? How will you make it fair for christmas time?

When I was little I really didn't understand the whole price thing. I just remember complaining about how my brother got more than me. I will try to get the same amount of presents and spend the same amount of money.

My mom always used a certian price budget for both of us kids. I will do the same. Sometimes that can be hard because certian things cost a lot more than others, but I think sticking to somewhat of a budget will still work the best.

Once L's older, I'll buy them the same amount of gifts or close to it.

Once they are adults, I'll make it equal by price and not amount.

I have 2 teenage step kids, and we do our best to spend the same amount on each one. If it happens that they end up with the same number of presents, even better.

We'll have a budget in mind and split it down the middle. Right now they are getting a lot of the same things in different colors/patterns but I'm sure that will change as they get older and their interests become more defined.
