  I use the disinfectant wipes by Dreft for his toys like that.

  I use the Clorox wipes.  They work really well.  I let the toys sit for a minute to make sure they are dry before giving them back to DS.

  A spray bottle with water and a few tablespoons of bleach. Spray, and let air dry.

  I normally use a clorox wipe - let it dry and then take a cloth wet with hot hot water and wipe it off - I don't want him ingesting even small amounts of the chemicals. 

  I have also used a vinegar solution but as hard as I try to be more natural with our cleaning products - I feel the 'cleanest' when using bleach of some sort.
