New Jersey Babies

Visiting NJ with baby- need some info :)

Hi ladies! I'm over from the SoCal boards. We're coming out to NJ to visit IL's this week, and DH and I are looking for some things to do with DD when we come out there. I know it's going to be cold, but I'd appreciate it if you have any ideas. DD is 7 months old. We were looking into taking her to Disney on Ice, but it's only in CT, which is a bit of a drive for us. Any ideas? TIA!

  • Not sure where you are going to be in NJ...

There's a place called Santa's Village (or something along those lines) in Boonton, NJ.  Year's ago, Fairy Tale Forest used to do a great holiday program.  Fairy Tale Forest is in Oak Ridge, NJ.  It's basically a little amusement park (no rides though) that have little models of popular fairy tales that are aminated.  I think they are still in business, but I'm not sure.  That would be a really cute thing to do.

  • it all depends on where in NJ you will be.

and let us know where you'll be - NJ is a small state- but it takes a long time to get places- so it is like a big state when it comes to recommending things to do :)
