Yesterday at work I was doing applesauce cinnamon ornaments with the clients and I saw a really nice angel cutter so I took the extra dough and made 2 angels. I then put the dates on the back one for Noah and one for our little bunny.
We were sitting watching TV last night and DH asked what smelled so strong of cinn. So I showed him the ornaments and that I had engraved the back with the dates. He smiled and said,"never forget that when the day comes that you go to heaven you'll have 2 little babies waiting for you, and if we can't have any children here and now, I think knowing that we'll have 2 babies for eternity isn't a bad deal. It makes me not so scared of death because then I'll get to see them"
Let me just tell you I cried for about an hour because of that. My H has always been terrified of death, but I guess not so much anymore.
I have to say sometimes I really wonder if they get how we feel because he's made the comment before he feels less connected sometimes because he never got to feel any of it or be a part of it other than a bystander, but statements like this show how much connection he did seem to have.
Re: I have to AW my DH.
That made me cry too.
I agree, they just seem to show it differently than us. What a wonderful way to think of it though.

That's awesome. I have to say, I never even thought of it like that. I can't wait to meet my baby in Heaven.
