Hi Ladies,
I dont normally post too much on here, although I have read posts everyday and got so much advice from all of you. You have all been a tremendous help! I want to share my story.
On Thurs 12/17, I woke up at 7:45am, and realized that it seems I was leaking amniotic fluid, esp after I noticed a pinkish-brown color. I immediately called the doctor and told them I would be going to the hospital. Thank goodness my h was home, since I have been on bed rest at 24 1/2 w, and wasnt able to drive as of 27 w due to being uncomfortable and developing borderline pre-e. We got to the hospital at around 9:00 am, and they confirmed that it was amniotic fluid as my water broke on the table, and started dilating soon after. My doc always told me that a vaginal birth was never an option, but when I was being wheeled into L&D they asked if I would like to try, since both babies were head down. At 1:11pm, Taylor Alexis was born at 2lb 2oz, 14 in long. I had to have an episiotomy too. Then Baby B took a while to descend, so we were waiting around for him to be born. They were inducing me. We were waiting for Baby B to descend, and finally broke my water. After a few minutes, all went chaotic and I had to have an emergency C section. I woke up to them telling me that Ryan Edward was born at 4:04pm weighing 2 lb 11 oz, 15 3/4 in long. Yep, the dreaded "double whammy". IMO I could care less about that, I was scared how tiny my babies are. They are both doing well now, and I should be discharged from the hosp tomorrow. T & P are appreciated for my LO's. TIA!
Re: My twins were born at 29 w 2 days - T & P please!

After a PCOS dx, 18 months of trying, 3 rounds of clomid and 2 follistim IUIs our babies are here!
So scary! I am sorry that you had to go through all of that. My daughters were born at 31 weeks due to HELLP syndrome. My big girl was 3 lbs 4 oz and my tiny was 2 lbs 1 oz. They are both home now after 65 days in the hospital and they have absolutely no health problems are on no medications and can see and hear perfectly.
Stay positve, its a long and hard journey but they need you more than anything now. They are going to be fine. You are in my thoughts and prayers. GL
