AW: shopping is DONE and starting to wrap!

AND the last batch of cards went out today.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh?  DH and I have decided...next year we start/finish shopping in October.  We start decorating in Nov (yeah we never got finished) and cards will get ordered in Nov.  I want to enjoy my Christmas holidays and not be rushed and stressed.  Granted this year I have felt like death (m/s) since mid October...but this is our game plan regardless from now on. Smile

 

DD 6/17/08, DD 6/9/10, DD 12/15/11
BFP 5/24/13 - Natural MC 6/7/13
BFP 8/13/13 - Natural MC 8/27/13
Ovarian Mass = removal of left ovary & tube 9/13
BFP 4/24/14 - Tubal Pregnancy 5/7/14
Removal of  ruptured right tube 5/8/14
IVF or adoption??

    Yay!!! Same here.......this m/s has killed my Christmas spirit this year!! I too am finally done shopping...........pile of toys with wrapping paper near my is waiting to be wrapped then I'm pretty much done!! I am hosting Christmas Eve though- still tons to do for that though.......!

    How are you feeling?? My m/s/all day sickness is still in full swing!!! I want it to go away :((((!

    Yes, waiting till last minute is a killer!

    We did most of our shopping in Nov. We didn't do all of it though b/c we wanted to spread the cost out a little. I also ended up sending out a few cards today. One was to someone who I forgot to send one to and the others were for ppl who don't normally send us a card, but they did this year.

    I think we have one present left to wrap and I am leaving that to DH...esp. since he seriously wraps presents better than I do! 

    On a side note...one of my friends actually freaks out if her shopping isn't done by December! She was also freaking out the other week b/c they didn't wrap any presents yet (and she still had a little over 2 weeks till Christmas!)!

    So jealous! I'm about halfway done (so sad) but I'm buying gift cards for the rest and the grocery store up the street sells every gift card you ever needed and more. Plus, I'm not seeing 4 people until next week so I figure I have some extra time. Big Smile

    If it makes you feel any better, I just ordered our holiday cards on Sunday night and I have yet to wrap a single gift.

    You strike me as a Gift Wrapper Extraordinaire - crisp corners, sharp points and perfect tape lines. Am I right?

    Normally yes but this year, I'm just trying to get done.  I really enjoy wrapping  Embarrassed
