When will my ute. be back to normal size?

No, this isn't about weight.  My uterus is sore (I assume from being stretched more than it should've been and having the c/s) from my belly button down.  It seems like it got to my belly button pretty quick (within 2 or 3 days), but doesn't seem like it's gotten any smaller since (maybe it has and the soreness is something else).

    It might be different for everyone - but the doctor told me before I left the hospital that mine had already gone completely back down and was basically back to it's normal size.

    I also had a c/s.

    Are you nursing?  And when you are nursing do you still feel or do you feel any contracting while you nurse?

    That might tell you if it is your ute or from your c/s.

    I am nursing and not normally feeling any contrax (only felt 2 while in the hospital and none since).  I go back to the OB on 1/4, was just curious until then.

    Well if it's back to normal, I really wish the soreness would go away.

    I hsd a c/s and was back down to normal size by 4 weeks, but I was very sore for 8 weeks.

    I had a vaginal birth, and I remember that it took quite awhile for it to go back down, at least 4 weeks if not more like 6-8. I only breastfed for 2 weeks so that might have been a big reason too. Hang in there and be patient with your body - I know it is hard! {hugs}
