My LO is experiencing a resurgence of his cradle cap and has been itching his scalp like crazy. I put the cream on his scalp but now he looks like the Fonz and smells like my grandma. Was I supposed to wash it out?

i didn't but my baby too had cradle crap again. I put olive oil all over her head and rubbed it in with a soft toothbrush. I did this for @ nights and it was gone. She no longer smells like a cheese head yay!!
I've used it. It doesn't really wash out well. Still greasy and smelly after a bath. I wouldn't recommend it for cradle cap.
Dang! Someone else recomended it for the itchyness earlier today. It doesnt really seem to be making a difference. He is sleeping now so I guess I will find out what happens when it stays on over night.
My Pedi recommended Paul Mitchell Baby no tears and it is working so far. I do have a baldy though. She said you have to buy it at the salon though and it only cost us $7.50

Not sure but I just wanted to say that my kiddo had cradle cap pretty badly (I'm talking chunks of skin fell of his head- it was pretty gross) and I used the Mustella Foam shampoo (someone recommended it on this board) and also a tiny bit of head and shoulders. It seems to do the trick as long as I wash his hair every other day or so. I also oil up his head with baby oil gel once in a while and let it sit there during one of his naps. Hope this helps!
My DS had horrible cc and I used plain old vasoline on it three days ago and now it's all gone! I bought the California baby cream and I HATE the way it smells. Vasoline two nights in a row, using a comb in the morning, and now it's gone!?
Re: Umm...anyone use california baby calendula cream for cradle cap?
This made me chuckle.
