What did you feel like at 16 weeks? Did you have a bump? What symptoms did you have if any?
Just curious what other people's experiences have been at or around the 16 week mark....
One more thing...hate to even ask, but it's bothering me! Did you feel "safe" at the 16 week mark in terms of m/c? I am still struggling with feeling good about things (or safe) because I don't feel any different! We heard the HB again last Wed at my 15 week apt...150 BPM going strong...GOSH I love hearing that little heart!
Re: 16 weeks tomorrow, and still waiting to feel pregnant!
Only symptom - hungry all the time.
Didn't really have my bump until the end of my 16th week.
I felt very symptom-free and not pregnant at 16 weeks.
I didn't start feeling pregnant until I felt the baby move. That changed everything.
What week were you when you felt the baby? What did it feel like? I am looking so forward to that....
I had the beginnings of a bump around 15 weeks, but not really a developed one until 18 1/2 weeks.
Around 16 weeks, I got the flu. Maybe not the best example of what to expect at that point.
16 weeks today
m/s still going strong
my bump just looks like I ate Arby's 5 for 5
and I feel fairly safe from a m/c, but there is always something to worry about, now it's birth defects
EXACTLY ME! My boobs aren't sore anymore at all...just "full" and even those fluctuate it seems?! Little change in the abdomen, but I am waiting still for a definitive bump! Jeans are getting tighter and harder to button as well. Time for the belly band thing soon?
I seriously didn't really start feeling pregnant until a few weeks ago. It took finding out the sex, my clothes getting very tight and feeling the baby kick every day for me to really feel like it was happening. At 15-16 weeks, I was still very much thinking that it was all made up in my head. I was just starting to get my bump around 16 weeks, but nothing that anyone who didn't know me could see. My only symptoms at that point were heartburn (still have) and back pain that made me feel like I was 100 years old. The back pain lasted until around 18-19 weeks and now I guess my body has adjusted to the new weight or something!
I have to say that I felt as safe as I am ever going to feel ever since we heard the hb again at 12 weeks. We had seen the little bean on u/s at 9 wks and I knew that the chances of mc were very low from there and so I have been able to relax as much as you can knowing that you are carrying a new life inside of you. But I won't truly feel safe until she is in my arms crying her eyes out!
Good luck!
I never had morning sickness, but i defenitly feel pregnant. I have a small bump but haven't felt movement yet.
Pregnancy is so fragile & delicate that there is never a "safe" point, not even after your LO is here. Unfortunately I see and hear of many more late term losses and it goes to show how miraculous pregnancy really is. Your chances of mc are decreased after first tri. Just stay healthy & follow your doctors orders, do the best that you can do.
