Anyone have any recommendations for a book for a 7 year old girl? I have no idea what the good books are.

    Judy Blume and Roald Dahl that pp mentioned are great!  Beverly Clearly is also excellent for girls that age.  There are usually lots of series of books for girls that age too...I don't know any offhand, but I am sure if you go to any bookstore, you will see plenty!    The American Girls books are also very popular.
