Vent: Anyone else overwhelmed right now?

With the holidays right around the corner and my LO teething and going through the 3 month growth spurt (over the last 2 weeks), I am so exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed right now. Are any of you feeling this way right now? It bothers me that only my DH is helping with things around the house (though I'm so fortunate that he does so much but he's getting exhausted now too). I'm sad that we aren't getting the support we need from family (my IL's won't even meet my DS until she's 9 months old (in April))!

:raises both hands: At my house it's me and DH only. His family is many states away and mine's an hour but they are always too busy to help out. I'm hoping it does get better after the holidays and hopefully you do too!

I know how you feel. I went through this a couple of weeks ago, and then one day I just woke up and said "I will do what I can, and that's it". And I have been so much happier since then. No the living room floor has not been vacuumed lately, I put off bathing the dog for 3 days, and my kitchen is not as clean as I would like. But at some point I had to just buy some gift bags and say "that's it"!

See my post up above. I still have Christmas shopping to do, grocery shopping, everyone is going to be at my house Christmas morning, and my house is a wreck. Thank God Dh is going to be off starting tomorrow so he can keep G while I get things done.
