In L&D yesterday

Yesterday I woke up with menstrual-like cramps. I did my whole GD routine - glucose test, insulin, breakfast. When they didn't go away, I drank tons of water and laid down for 2 hours. The cramps kept coming and got stronger and longer. I called the on-call doc who told me to meet him in L&D.

I am 50% effaced and 0 dilated. The monitors picked up pretty strong contractions but they were irregular. The doc checked my cervix again after all the contractions stopped and thankfully there was no change. I am REALLY praying that the babies stay put until 2010. I have a strong feeling they're coming this month.

    Where are you delivering?  I was at York and they were excellent.  I had mine at 33w6d. 

    Stay put little ones... Momma needs to make it to a GTG ;)

    I'm delivering at York too. I have been so impressed with all the OBs, peris, and nurses and I'm really comfortable being in their care. Which group did you go to? 

    I would love to make it to the GTG! I just need to find a sitter for that night. I can't handle taking my foster son out by myself. He's quickly learned that I can't chase him or pick him up and takes full advantage of it :)

    I go to York Women's Health Center on 462 at Stoneybrook. 

    York Hospital was great.... I ended up delivering a lost faster than anyone expected so it was very rushed.  They were EXCELLENT.   The nurses and staff were great. 

    The NICU was wonderful!!  my guys were there for 18 and 21 days and the nurses there were very good with J & B.  

    I couldn't imagine having to chase after a little one while I was pregnant with my two!  Whoosh!  Kids are smart, I woudn't bring him out either if  I were you.
