Gaining weight!!!

I went to my Dr. this morning and found out I have gained 17lbs so far!!!! So excited.  The bad part is that I gained 9lbs. in one month (opps). Embarrassed

I am waiting for the results of my 3 hr. glucose test to come back but I am thinking that I didn't pass.  Oh well....not the end of the world.  I will just need to be a bit more careful of what I eat.

    I gained 9 lbs in 3 weeks with DD at one point.  I got scolded, sure, but I never tested positive for GD.  They may have had a growth spurt!

    I gained 11 lb between 20-24 weeks, then only 3 between 24-28 weeks. 

    I passed my early & normal glucose tests.

    Keep up hope - I'm sure you'll pass!

    I gained 9 pounds between week 20 and 22.  My Peri said it was good.

    17 pounds in 20 weeks is still under what Dr. Luke recommends!


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    yay for weight gain!

    I've gained around 30-35 total thus far, and gained 10 pounds just in the last 3 weeks. My nutritionist was thrilled and told me to keep it up.

    Good for you!!! 

    I think some months your body just needs to gain more weight and there is really no need to be careful or cut down.  I gained 8 pounds in 3 weeks between 20 and 23, even though I wasn't at all trying.  Once I hit 20 pounds by 20 weeks, I felt that I didn't have to stuff myself anymore, but even though I cut down my eating to more normal levels, my body picked up the weight gain!!!  :)

    I gained 13lbs in 4 weeks and then in the next month only gained 2lbs. It will all even out. I've now gained about 50lbs total at 37 weeks and my OB is totally happy with my progress.

    Good luck on the GD test. I had to take the 3 hour also. I passed when I thought I failed too, so be hopeful!!
