I always throw mine in the dryer (on lowest heat) because if I don't it's so soaked and takes forever to air dry. I don't want to ruin the PUL, what do you do to dry yours?
Unless it's warm and sunny out, I throw it in the dryer at whatever heat. The PUL has held up beautifully for the past year.
The smaller wet bags for the diaper bag I usually hang to dry.
ETA: I have Wahmies wet bags
This is good to know. It worries me because when it's straight out of the dryer the PUL has this whiteish color that goes away after it cools down. Maybe I'm just paranoid. =P
My bigger bags don't get that whitest color but one of my smaller ones by Momy's Touch does and it hasn't affected the PUL in the slightest. I jsut started air drying them because I now have two so it can take longer to dry. But the MT wet bag used to get dried like once a week, get white, cool off and be fine.
i toss mine in the dryer with the diapers. so far, everything has worked out beautifully.
actually, the smaller wet bag kind of leaked through a couple of weeks ago, but MIL put a diaper that she'd dunked & DS's swim trunks in there at the same time, then left them sitting in her garage for two days. (thanks for that, MIL). not sure who made that one, but i know i got it from etsy.
PUL actually should be dried in the dryer at least ocassionally so you're safe. The heat helps to reseal the lining and keep things waterproof. Anything with PUL (aio's, pockets, covers, wetbags) should be run through the dryer at least once every couple of weeks to keep them from developing wicking issues.
I can't air dry in large amounts (very treed shady yard) and I've exclusively dried all my PUL including wet bags in the dryer several times a week for over a year and a half and they've all been just fine.
