Is this considered spotting - or not?

Yesterday and today (CD 17 & 18) I?ve had a very slight amount of brown/tan tinged CM ? but only when I wipe. I don?t notice it on my underwear. Has anyone had this?

I had brown/light pink spotting CD 9-11, but yesterday and today its less. I can only see it with tissue.

It could possibly be a sign of ovulation??but I ovulate very late, so it might not be that. However, my OPK yesterday and then an hour ago were deceivingly almost positive (but only after about 8-10 minutes) ? but I?ve had a fake-out before.

Do I mark it as spotting on my chart even though I can?t see it on my underwear?

Yes, I would mark spotting. I mark spotting if I see a pink tinge during my CM check. If you're coming off BC, this might cause the erratic spotting in your cycles. After charting a couple months, you might notice this is common for you, but you never noticed before (simply because you weren't looking). Good luck!

I'm going to play it by ear. I kind of think though that its a little early for testing. I want to see how this cycle pans out. I am nearing the 6-month mark, but if I ovulate late like I have been, then I'll be approaching month 7 when I ovulate.
