anyone from the Tampa area?

Hoping to get some advice, I'm going to be there for the bowl game from 12/26-1/2 and wanted to find out what to do around there, if there was anywhere I could go by myself while DH works, etc. We are staying at the Hyatt downtown. I'm a native Floridian but it's been a while since I've been to Tampa. I won't have a car, so anything within walking distace or cab ride.

If you're at the Hyatt, I'm pretty sure the trolley goes by ther. e It is a few bucks roundtrip, but the only good, reliable public transport in that area; our bus sytem kind of sucks and taxis are not readily available - you have to call for pick up and hey are expensive!
The trolley will take you to Channelside and Ybor. Both have nice shopping , restaurants, and movie theaters. There is also a bowling alley at Channelside and the Aquarium (which is really nice) is right next door to Channelside. Ybor usually has a weekend market on Saturday with local produce and crafts, too.
