Plus size mommies-Nursing tanks

Hi Ladies,

I haven't started looking yet other than online, but are there places where you can easily find plus size nursing tanks?  I have seen that Gap/Old Navy has xxl but I'm not sure what size to expect to be after the little one gets here.

Help!!

Re: Plus size mommies-Nursing tanks

  • I ordered some from Walmart (good reviews) that are an XL. I was a 16-18 prepregnancy and I'll probably be an 18-20 PP  until some of this baby weight comes off. They're very stretchy and seem like they'll fit great once this bump goes down a bit.

  • I was a size 14 PPG, and I got some at Target.  With dd, I had purchased XL (as this usually works), but my tata's got so big, that they wouldn't fit through the holes!  :)  I had to go back and get the XXL!  :)
  • I am glad you've posted this because I was just thinking of it today.  I want to get some tanks first before investing in bras because I am not sure what size I'll be.  FWIW, I am a size 18/20 and fit Old Navy's XXL sizes while pregnant (actually one pair of their XXL mat jeans was too big on me).

  • I got all mine at Target and they fit great!
  • I made my own. It was super simple and way cheaper than buying actual tanks.

    How'd you do it?

  • I'm normally a l/xl and I ended up having to buy XXL nursing tanks from Glamourmom.com once my milk came in.  I went from a full C/D cup to holy cow ginormous.  Everything can change over night, so don't buy too many right away. Wait until LO is a couple of weeks old.
