Re: August mommas check-in
I like August Miracles!
I have my first OB appt on January 7, but am pushing for another u/s before. then. I'm paranoid b/c this is when my loss occurred.
We have an ornament of angel wings. We've used them every year, but now they have a deeper meaning.
LOL I forgot to put myself on the list. Pg brain has kicked in!
Im doing good. I get my second betas today and if they are over 10,000 I get an u/s on Thursday morning.. Im hoping and praying that means I get the best christmas present EVER!
Ive been really really tired, sore bewbies, nauseus and peeing lots! I have been waking up two to three times to pee at night!
QOTD: Yep I put Grace's angel wings on our tree and bought poinsettas in her memory at church..
I think August Miracles is very very cute.
I'm doing very good after my betas came in so well. My first appointment is next Monday at 2:20. I'm so excited. I have a lot more mucus and its triggering vomiting. Also I notice I don't have nausea but things that used to not bother me make me throw up.
QOTD: I have a little angel hanging on my tree for my little one not really out there but I know its there.

Hey there! Add me to the list.
EDD - Well, lets say August 12ish... (I'm measuring late).
QOTD: Not really. I've kinda looked around for special ornaments but haven't found anything I really like. Pier 1 has really nice, plain angel wings ornaments that I may get. Simple and not obvious but an uplifting reminder for me.
Overall I'm doing pretty well. Fatigue is kicking my butt and the boobs are a bit sore. Feeling "ick" but not what I'd call m/s... I'm counting my blessings there.
I go back Christmas Eve day to make sure baby is progressing. It measured quite a bit behind what was expected so this is either gonna be a really great or really awful Christmas.
Oh yeah - and I like "August Miracles"
Hey everyone... I haven't officially introduced myself on this board yet, but I am expecting and about 5 weeks along. Work has been busy lately, so I've had little "bump time" and that which I've had has mostly been on TTCAL. (I promise, I'll get around to the intro eventually.)
Ok, now with that out of the way, I haven't been to the OB yet, but I had betas done and with my OPKs and LMP, I'm guessing that I'm due around August 25. So far I feel terrific (Today I am pregnant, and I love my baby!), little to no pregnancy symptoms, I have a "missed period" appt. on December 28th b/c I'm going on a cruise and need a "fit to travel" letter, my first real appt. will be on January 11... at 8 weeks.
Christmas should be interesting, b/c I'm not exactly quiet or subtle and we're trying not to tell anyone we're pregnant (except my parents and DH's parents) until at least after our first appt.
QOTD: My church started something really sweet this year. They did a "Home for Christmas" service where people were invited to submit the name and photo of a loved one that will be spending their first Christmas "home" in heaven with Jesus this year. So, we gave them Sprinkle's name and an ultrasound picture, and during the service they read all the names and put all of the pictures up on powerpoint and they gave us each a special commemorative ornament. It was really nice. Other than that... we're not doing too much else, but I think it was a really great service and I love having the little angel ornament to put on our tree. I think I might have the back of it engraved with Sprinkle's name.
Will you add me as well?

Thank you
For Christmas, I have placed a special angel ornament on the tree for our lost LO.
I think the miracles name is very fitting, especially for when we all received our bfps!
Can you please add me??

I have my first u/s Jan 4 so I am anxiously awaiting that day. Have been feeling good up until about three days ago
I am hoping I can make it through the holidays ok as we are not telling extended family until after my u/s or maybe even later!
Congrats to all of you on your BFPs and Happy Holidays!!!
Oh and I like August Miracles!
Can you add me please? EDD 08/08/10.
QOTD: Today is my first EDD, so I'm trying to stay busy and keep myself distracted. I bought an angel ornament for the tree this year.
Add me please.
My name is Nicole and my EDD is Aug 9.
I haven't really posted much on this board but I would love to be added.
My EDD is Aug.7, 2010.
I actually just had my 2nd u/s yesterday and everything is great so far. The heartbeat was 130 bpm and baby measured at 7w 1d which was only one day off. We are still trying not to get too excited, but it's so hard not to.
Had our 2nd u/s last Friday & saw hb (115bpm) and measured 6w1d, which may change my EDD. We go back again on Saturday and then 1/5, then hopefully get discharged from my RE to by ob. I was feeling a little nauseous last week, but that has subsided. I'm having trouble remembering that I need to eat every couple of hours and have often been unprepared. Otherwise, just really tired and bloated.
QOTD: I haven't done anything special for XMas, although I always wear a necklace that I bought to remember my lost babies. I wear it daily, and I'm content with that. No one, besides DH, knows what the necklace means to me.
