Not pregnant I would warm up at 6.0, and range from 6.5 - 7.0 depending on how long I would run. If it was a shorter run, I'd stay on the higher speed, longer run, I'd do it in intervals.
Now, I stay around 5.8 and honestly I barely break a sweat.
I would do 6.0 and sometimes higher but lately I feel like I run out of breath way faster than before. I don't understand it, but I am only really comfortable around 5.5 or so. It really kinda sucks actually but I suppose as long as I'm still moving!
This is going to vary so much based on your natural speed and fitness.
Pre-pregnancy I ran long runs (never do those on a treadmill unless under 20 degrees or lots of ice or really bad t-storms) at about a 8:30 minute mile, so not sure of the exact speed on teh treadmill, but I usually do a 7 to a 7.2 for these runs (over 10 miles).
For middle distance 5-9.5 miles I run at around 8 minute miles, so I think a 7.4 or 7.5.
For short runs, like a 5k, I run around a 7:30 minute mile, so that is about an 8 on the treadmill.
in pregnancy, I have not been doing over 10 mile runs, so not sure on that.
I have been doing 5Ks runs 2 days a week and a 6-8 mile run 1 day a week. Pace for my 5Ks has been about 8:30 minute miles. Only run on treads a few times but think it was about a 7.
For my longer runs, have been mostly outside thankfully, averaged about a 9 minute mile or a little under. I did one 6 mile on the treadmill and I think it was at a 6.7 or 6.8.
I am only 10 weeks, so I am sure I will slow down once I start to show or feel weird. My doctor said as long as I feel fine and am not huffing and puffing that I can keep running as much as I want.
So far so good!
Good luck to everyone and happy and healthy pregnancies!
not preg- short legs, run at 6.0-6.5 for 3-6 miles
preg- bouncing baby makes crotch very uncomfortable....walk at 4.0 and incline 3.0. alternate 5.5 runs. but only do about 30 mins (time instead of miles:( depressing, but at least it something!

Wow - some of you are fast runners! My legs are like 2 feet long so I can only go so fast. I cannot run on a treadmill at all - so I usually do intervals. My pre-bfp runs are generally around 10min miles (6mph) and I'll run faster for races (8-9 min miles). Now, I'm lucky if I can do 11 or 12 min miles for a couple of miles. I just get so winded - it sucks but oh well.

Wow, you guys are making me feel like a lump on a log! lol. I didn't workout before any of my babies and I just started working out now.. three months after my third kiddo.
Pre-pregnancy, I'd run 7.2 - 8.5 mph depending on the distance, type of workout. Now I run at 6.3 - 6.7, but don't do any speed intervals or anything crazy like that. Just this morning as I was cruising along at 6.5, I was thinking about how I would have never gone below 7.0 a few months ago, but now I won't go over it!
Between 5.8 and 6.8 is most comfortable for me now. I can manage a 7.0 for a lap or two at a time, but no more yet. When I started (and even last year November) I averaged about 4.8-5.2.
Re: What speed do you run at on the tredmill?
I would vary my speed: start at 5.0 and go up to a 6.5
Now I'm topping out at 6, but not for long.
Not pregnant:
6.0 for 10 mile runs+
6.5 for 5-9 mile runs
7.0 for 3-4 mile runs
Pregnant:
6.0 for 8 mile runs (longest I've gone for about a month)
6.2 for 5-6 mile runs
6.5 for 3-4 mile runs

I started doing the C25K. https://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml
I walk at a 3 and jog at a 5. I guess it isn't running though it's 'jogging' so I guess that makes me feel a little better!
