When did you stop bleeding? & 6 Week check-up? TMI.

I know, I know. Not the most glamorous topic.

When did you stop bleeding altogether? I have been spotting (enough to have to still wear a pad) for about a week now and wondering when this long, drawn out process is going to end! My daughter is 4 weeks, 3 days old now so I keep expecting it to end soon but no such luck thus far.

Also, if you were still bleeding by the time your 6 week postpartum dr's appt, did you keep the appt or reschedule? I know that's probably a dumb question, but I will feel a little embarrassed to go in and get checked out if I'm still bleeding. Which seems dumb considering what the Dr has already seen, but still.

I stopped at 3 weeks, then started again a week and a half later. I don't know if this is AF or what, but it's still going! ):

I'm the same way. 4 weeks PP and still bleeding enough to have to wear a pad. I can't wait for it to stop!

Yup! I was still bleeding around then. Not a ton..but I wore a pad. The bleeding did stop by my six week check-up but I would still go if you are bleeding. It really is no big deal to them and maybe your doc should know that you still are.
