This kind of sh!t makes me hate living in an apartment

My daughter (11 years old) went out to get our mail Saturday.  She came in and gave me a letter and there was also a magazine.  I figured it was one of my various baby-related magazines that I get, or maybe a computer mag that DH gets.  DD proceeded to open said magazine. 

It was my neighbor's Playboy magazine. 

So now my daughter has had a glimpse of a porno mag, and I know a little more about my neighbor than I wanted to. 

I want to move.

    If it makes you feel any better a postal mistake like that could happen no matter where you live. Apartments or houses.

    i live in a house and last year my husband was home for a surgery on a finger hurt at work. 

    the stupid neighbor kept getting our l&i checks and sending them back instead of walking 2 houses down and giving us what was obviously a checks before christmas. we finally got the money 3 days before christmas so we could START our shopping

    We get our neighbor's mail all the time and we live in a subdivision.  Although so far we haven't gotten any Playboys, lol.

    Yeah, I guess it could happen no matter where you live...but it just seems less likely.  LOL 

     

    At least it wasn't a Penthouse or something super trashy.

    They should make it so that you can tell. But people probably don't want their post man to know they are pervos lol. Or maybe they just don't want the post man to steal their playboys.
