Last minute name change??

Did any of you ladies go into labor, thinking you had decided on a name, and then change it when you actually met your baby? How did you choose the name? DH and I are really struggling, I know we still have some time to figure it out, but I'm thinking that I want to meet her first!

    we had two of each boy and girl names ready- so we could decide when we met him! (We both had favorites though!)

    We debated through L&D but ended up with the same name different spelling

    We didn't decide 100% until she was born, but ended up going with the name we thought we would. We had a few other backups.

    We didn't, but my best friend's parents changed her brothers name after 1 day because they felt like it didn't suit him.

    we didn't decide until DD was out and the doctor looked at us and asked what her name was.

    DH looked at her for a moment and decided from the "short list"

    dh and i didn't decide until 24 hours after she was born.  all the nurses kept coming in and asking what her name was, and we said "we don't know yet"!

    Neither of our children was named until a day or so after birth. We had a shortlist for each; with DD we ended up going with our first choice (DH's favourite), but with DS we picked something completely different that had only made it onto the list a couple days before his birth. It fits him perfectly, though.
